Our Story
ShearWorx, originally named C&S Transportation, was founded in 2017 with a single truck, a dump trailer, and a shear. From these humble beginnings a leader in the scrap metal industry was born.
Seeing a need in the industry for not only scrap hauling but also scrap processing from a high-quality service provider, ShearWorx grew from a local central Alabama processor to one with a footprint spanning most of the United States.
We partner with some of the largest scrap-producing customers in the country to provide shearing, torching, loading, and logistics services, as well as big-picture, long-term solutions.
